Cody Jinks isn’t done with In My Blood yet.
The singer-songwriter is putting out a deluxe edition of his 2025 album on July 24, according to a press announcement from his team going public today. The expanded version adds three new tracks, and Jinks is letting one of them out early: “Good Man” arrives today, Friday, June 26.
His label pitches “Good Man” as a stripped-back, introspective number about the choices that shape a person, with the production kept sparse so his voice carries the song. The early-single-now, full-record-later approach is a familiar one, and it gives fans something to chew on for a month before the rest of the deluxe lands.
The bigger news for concertgoers in our corner of the world: Jinks is set to open for Five Finger Death Punch on the band’s 20th anniversary tour this summer and fall, his team confirmed. It’s a notable pairing — Jinks built his name in country and outlaw circles, while Five Finger Death Punch comes out of the heavy rock and metal world — and it should put him in front of a lot of new ears, potentially including some Boston-area dates worth watching as the routing firms up.
